Fort Myers Beach Fire Control District (FMBFCD) Public Information Office provides public safety information to the residents and visitors of the Fort Myers Beach Fire Control District, while educating the community, thus raising the awareness of the many services the district offers to our community.

FMBFCD Public Information Office constantly strives to ensure accurate and complete media coverage of FMBFCD-related incidents and events year round. The office oversees all internal and external communications for the district through a variety of media such as media releases, photos, videos, brochures, our public website just to name a few.

In addition, the office is responsible for coordinating all FMBFCD events and ceremonies, overseeing public recognition programs, publicizing departmental achievements, maintaining FMBFCD’s photo library, and assisting outside agencies or organizations in the promotion of fire and life safety related activities.
